Alcohol is available to residents at functions run by the Therapeutic Recreation & Activities Department. An example of such a function is "Paddy's Pub " which is held once a week. Additionally, on request and if there are no medical contraindications, a resident’s physician may prescribe alcohol. The resident or family member purchases the preferred beverage and Nursing staff will dispense it as prescribed. |
