Mail

 Envelope ready to be mailed

Receiving Mail

The Home receives mail once a day, Monday to Friday. The Receptionist sorts it for each floor/unit and it is delivered to the unit during the day.

When on Holiday  When the resident is on holiday, or if in hospital, mail can be held at the Reception Desk until the resident returns.  If desired, it is also possible to redirect financial correspondence to the Business Office.  Speak to the Trust Accounts Clerk if this service is desired.

Sending Mail

A Canada Post mail box is just outside the main entrance, on the verandah, and mail is picked up once a day.  If residents wish to leave mail at the Reception Desk, the receptionist will ensure that it is deposited in the mailbox that day.

A New Service

Family/Friends from "away" can send email to residents, using a special email address set up for this, or the form available
[go to Send an Email to a Resident].  Once received by the Receptionist, it will be printed and delivered with the regular mail (no attachments please).  If the resident wishes to reply to you by email, we will arrange for a volunteer to "take dictation" and send an email on behalf of the resident back to you.
