Routine foot care
("basic foot care") is provided by the nursing staff, as part of their
regular morning or evening care, and the cost of this is included in the
accommodation fee (room rate) already paid.
Fee For Service
Residents who have more complex foot care needs require the services
of a nurse with advanced training. The Home has retained the
services of a health professional who has this additional training.
Residents who need these services may take advantage of the in-house
service ($25 per visit), or may make their own arrangements with a
practitioner outside the facility.
Any resident who
chooses to have basic foot care done by this nurse must also pay for the
services at the same rate of $25 per visit. |
