St. Patrick’s Home has an active Infection Prevention and Control Committee that monitors all resident and staff illness.

A Pandemic Plan is in place – in the Home, in the City and in the Province.

Gastro-enteritis

Nausea
Vomiting

Abdominal cramping
Fever/abnormal body temperature (< 35.5^o C or > 37.5 ^o C) or a temperature that is known to be abnormal for you.

48 hours after the last symptom ends

Respiratory type illness

Myalgia (muscle ache)

Sore throat/ hoarseness
Nasal Congestion
Chills
Headache
Malaise (fatigue)
Anorexia
Cough
