Volunteering has been a long time tradition at St. Patrick's Home, starting with the formation of the Ladies' Auxiliary in 1866.  Volunteers remain a very important component of the workforce at St. Patrick's Home. FORMS for Volunteering

Becoming a volunteer All volunteers are interviewed and screened to ensure suitability. We look at interests, skills and availability and then try to match the volunteer with the right position. To help new volunteers become comfortable in their new role as quickly as possible, we provide a general orientation to the Home, as well as training in the particular service area.

St. Patrick's Home invites you to be part of the volunteer services team. Together, we can contribute to making St. Patrick's Home one of the best places in Ottawa for a senior to live.

Remember, a few hours a week will add to the QUALITY OF LIFE of our residents and will give YOU a chance to experience personal fulfillment and satisfaction in helping someone else.
