Standards

Our managers ensure that professional and legislated standards are met. The Home, regulated by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, is inspected regularly by its assigned Compliance Advisor. Representatives from the Public Health Department ensure that sanitary standards are met by Nutritional Services as well as other departments in the Home. In the event of an outbreak, the Public Health Department works closely with the Home to ensure a swift resolution to the situation.

The Home is proud to say that it was accredited on its first survey by the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation (now Accreditation Canada) and has maintained its accredited status ever since.

We are also inspected by other agencies, at various frequencies.
