St. Patrick's Home participates voluntarily in the Accreditation program provided by Accreditation Canada (formerly the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation. 

"Accreditation is a process that health services organizations use to evaluate and to improve the quality of their services.  Accreditation provides recognition that an organization's services meet national standards of quality." (AIM:  Achieving Improved Measurement, Accreditation Program 2005, page 2).
